At Olivia Keenan School of Beauty our Makeup and Nail Courses provide students with an ITEC Qualification which is internationally recognised enabling our students with excellent job opportunities on qualification.

Certificate in Make-up Level 2

This course is ideal for complete beginners looking to learn basic and current or “on trend” make-up application. This is a very popular career at present and a great way for you to make your clients look and feel great. Learn the theoretical and practical aspects of makeup including those added ingredients which enhance different looks. Learn the tricks of the trade and on completion be confident and capable of embarking on a career in this area.

Certificate in Fashion & Photographic Make-up Level 3

The course offers extensive skills in the expanding commercial industry of makeup artistry. This curriculum covers an expanse of makeup techniques including, media, photographic, bridal, Avant Garde and high fashion. This course will train students to the highest standards of makeup artistry whilst also giving the opportunity to complete ITEC international Certificate as part of this course.

During studies students will be given the opportunity to complete a portfolio. Additional training in cluster lash application.

Diploma in Fashion, Theatre and Media Make-up Level 3

The world of the professional Make-Up Artist offers many exciting national and international career options. Our Make-Up Artistry course will provide you with a range of professional skills and knowledge to help you launch your career. This exciting course covers all aspects of professional Make- Up Artistry that include High Fashion Make-Up, Make-Up for Theatre, TV and Film, Special Effects Make-up and Postiche. You’ll learn Make-Up techniques, developing skills that respond to various contexts and briefs. Additional training in cluster lash application.

This Gel Nail Technician course focuses on the Manicure Company Nail System. Many of our graduate nail technicians now work in salons or have started their own mobile business with great success. As part of this course a technical support line is available throughout the students training period.

Our Popular Nail Course is designed from beginners to qualified beauty therapists. The course enables all students to start earning revenue immediately on completion of the course and will provide potential employment in a beauty salon, specialised nail salon, or from home Learners will qualify in manicure & pedicure, gel and acrylic nails. Learners will also develop an understanding of health & safety practices, business awareness, anatomy & physiology and cosmetic science. Additional training in gel polish and nail art.
