Certificate in Microdermabrasion Treatments Level 3

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive form of mechanical exfoliation that is designed to improve the overall texture, tone and clarity of the skin while restoring the skin’s colour and elasticity. It smooths out, refreshes and regenerates the skin. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be qualified to perform microdermabrasion to a high professional standard using the diamond method.

Be able to treat a range of skin conditions including acne scarring and anti-ageing skins. Know how to incorporate microdermabrasion with other treatments for maximum results.

Certificate in Skin Needling Level 4

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 aesthetic therapies. They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing skin needling treatments. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of level 4 aesthetic therapies, all of which are valued highly by Aesthetic employers.

Diploma in Epilation Level 4

Electrolysis is performed by specialists commonly referred to as electrologists. Electrologists are trained to insert a very fine needle into the natural opening of the hair, alongside the hair shaft, to deliver a micro pulse of electricity to the base of the follicle. The regenerative ability of the hair growth material is eliminated through the process of electrolysis to deliver permanent hair removal. There are three modalities used in the practice of electrology: Galvanic current, also called direct current. Thermolysis, also called alternating or short-wave current. The Blend, which is a combination of alternating and direct current delivered in sequence or simultaneously.

Diploma in Advanced Skincare Level 4

The Aesthetic Industry is booming, new clinics like SISU and THERAPIE are opening up new Branches all over Ireland and the UK and the demand for Aesthetic Therapists is growing daily.  Salaries are improving as the level of education and training required to excel in this area is finally being recognised. In this course, learners will be trained microdermabrasion treatments, laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation, dermatology and microbiology, physiology of ageing and chemistry of hair and beauty products.
